The Wait
An experimental video project shot in Paris, blending live-action footage with NeRF-based processing to capture the city through a fragmented and dreamlike visual language.
Concept
The Wait is an experimental film project created in Paris, using NeRF-based processing to reinterpret live-action footage through a more unstable and atmospheric visual language.
The project explores the feeling of waiting inside the city — moments suspended in transit, public spaces and fleeting encounters. Paris becomes less of a fixed location and more of a reconstructed memory: soft, fragmented, painterly and constantly shifting.
By blending real footage with AI-assisted spatial reconstruction, the piece transforms everyday urban scenes into something more emotional and dreamlike, where the city feels both familiar and partially dissolved.
